Please articulate why a wide, cross-section of Americans follow Oprah Winfrey?
She is a savvy businesswoman who is charismatic; but she is first and foremost an "entertainer" not someone who should have her advice followed as gospel.
I fail to understand the Oprah phenomenon.
Please enlighten me as to why she connects to so many people.
As an aside, I am not racist or an Oprah "hater"... Just curious as to her soaring popularity.
She is into the new age religion as some people are, I don't think she ahs gotten proper theraphy for her sexual abuse and has taken on the "Do everything in your own will power" stance of New age religion, I think that is what makes her popular, some of her quests have been into the new age.
